Imagine NYC Schools Internships for High School Students:
As part of the Imagine NYC Schools initiative, the DOE is announcing paid virtual internships for high school students.
This internship will run from January through June 2021 with weekly meetings and activities; high school interns can earn up to $750 for up to fifty (50) hours.
The focus of this internship is to engage students in re-thinking and innovating the high school learning experience; participants will advise the DOE on what's working well (or not) in blended and remote learning; what kinds of learning experiences are most interesting, engaging, and innovative to them; and what "equity" means.
Students can apply by December 7.
Student Opportunities Page on InfoHub: The Student Opportunities page of the DOE family website posts information about student programs, events, internships, scholarships, and much more. Announcements are organized by grade level—all schools, elementary schools, middle schools, and/or high schools—and are available to the public. A link to this page is shown at the top right of the Principals Hub page. Instructions for posting student opportunities, can also be found on the page.
