Brandy Colbert, author of The Voting Booth!
Wednesday, Oct. 28th, at 4:30pm, TeenLIVE will be hosting Brandy Colbert, author of The Voting Booth! This story follows two high school seniors as they attempt to vote for the very first time: When Duke gets turned away from the polls on Election Day, Marva steps in to make sure that he can vote. Neither of them realize the effort they'll need to put in - driving back and forth between polling locations, standing in interminably long lines, even running out of ballots, but Marva in particular is determined to make sure that everyone who can vote does. They're both set up for a whirlwind adventure of a day!
