BASE students invited to NYC Student Disrupt at Riverdale Country School on Sunday, December 8 from


In the past, you have attended our Agile Youth Challenge Hackathon. We are happy to say that we have transitioned Agile Youth Challenge into NYC Student Disrupt, a student run organization aimed at bringing together teenagers from across the city to identify, ideate and code solutions to problems that teenagers are uniquely well positioned to solve. We are about bringing like-minded students from all socio-economic backgrounds into an event where they can meet, solve problems and have fun doing it. NYC Student Disrupt will be hosting a hackathon for all NYC high school Students at Riverdale Country School on Sunday, December 8 from 8:30AM - 5:00PM. Here is more information about our event: WHAT: A one-day competition enabling NYC high school students to come up with a unique idea that is relevant to their lives as teenagers and code a solution working in teams. No entry fee and prizes will be awarded.

WHY: A unique opportunity for high school students who are interested in entrepreneurship or technology to come together as members of a broader community, to learn from each other and participate in something that is unique and relevant to them. WHO: Any student or group of students in grades 9 - 12 from a NYC high school can register to attend. Teams of 4 people are recommended but smaller teams and individuals are absolutely welcome as we will pair people together the day of the event ensuring a great time is had by all. And no coding experience necessary. TRANSPORTATION: Riverdale Country School is located at

5250 Fieldston Road in the Bronx.

It is accessible by the 1 Subway, 242nd street stop. NYC Student Disrupt is also providing free bus transportation departing from 96th and Amsterdam at 8:00 and 96th and Lex at 7:45. FOOD: Lunch and snacks will be provided. COST: Absolutely free. There is no cost to register or attend. SPONSORS/VOLUNTEERS: We are looking for sponsors and volunteers to help with the event.
