SCAN-NY is now hiring youth ages 16-24 for our Intern and Earn program!
Intern and Earn is a 12-week paid internship program. Our next orientation begins on Monday, November 26th.

Eligibility Requirements:
Ages 16-24
Not currently working
Not currently enrolled in school
No college degree
NYC resident
We have currently have internship opportunities in career fields such as: office/corporate, retail, education, childcare, hotels/hospitality, finance, tourism/museums, security, food service, healthcare, and more.
Internship Overview:
2-week paid orientation that focuses on job readiness, interview skills, resume building, and more.
After completing orientation, participants begin their internships at one of our partner companies.
Pay rate is $13/hr and will increase to $15/hr on Dec 31. Interns will work 25 hours per week.
Upon completing the internship, participants are often hired permanently by their worksite. We offer follow up services and job placement assistance for all interns after completing the program as well.
We are looking for candidates who are eager to work, and eager to grow both professionally and personally. Prior work experience is not necessary. High School Diploma or GED is not necessary.
