Games Day Nov 17th

Hello everyone,

We are reaching out to tell you about another exciting games event. This weekend, the New York Public Library (NYPL) is hosting the 11th annual International Games Day! Please join TeenLIVE, NYPLarcade and MyLibraryNYC on November 17th to celebrate play, literacy and the wonder that is games in general!

NYPLarcade is an opportunity to play, watch, and discuss independent, experimental, and thought-provoking games in a library setting. Think of it as a book club, but for video games!

Games in previous years have included the ever popular Super Mario Odyssey, the aesthetically-pleasing The Witness, the notoriously difficult Cuphead, the classic Settlers of Catan and many more!

Festivities take place on Saturday, November 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Celeste Bartos Forum of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building (enter on 42nd Street near 5th Avenue) and admission is FREE and open to the public! We hope you will mark your calendars and share the below details with your students and any other game lovers you may know.
