STEM From Dance (SFD) envisions a world in which women of color are represented equitably in the STEM workforce. To this end, we use dance as a confidence-building, culturally responsive approach to attract and prepare girls for a future in STEM.
Specifically, our curriculum integrates dance and computer science to facilitate the student-led creation of amazing, tech-infused performances.
This summer, join a community of ambitious young ladies for an inspiring experience uncovering the magic that happens when you bring dance and coding together. Over the course of the program, you will collaborate with friendly instructors and fellow
participants to explore the incredible world of code and dance with hands-on learning and a performance you won’t forget.
The intensive runs from July 9-20 (Monday - Friday) for two weeks at 9AM - 3PM. Learn more here and apply by May 6.
