The application deadline for the National Grid’s 2018 Engineering Pipeline Program is fast approaching. We would like to bring your attention again to this great opportunity for your respective Junior High School students. Please take a moment to review our information and pass it along to both the students and their parents to ensure they do not miss our application deadline.
If you would like to schedule for a National Grid team to come and speak to your junior class, please let us know. We can only accommodate 5 request per jurisdictions, so please let us know immediately if your school is interested in this opportunity.
If your students are interested in enrolling in EPP, we encourage you to have a discussion with them and guide them to complete the online application. Please note that all applications must be submitted by the May 5th, 2018 deadline.
In addition to a strong interest in science and math, applicants:
• Must currently be enrolled in their junior year of high school
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 87%
• Explain their desire to learn about engineering in a 250-word essay
• Provide evaluations from two teachers
